Vernon "Sonny" "Hop" Lee Hopkins, 78, a lifelong resident of Annapolis died of cancer Aug. 14 at his home. Mr. Hopkins was born April 29, 1930, in Annapolis. He attended Eastport Elementary and then graduated from Annapolis High School in 1947.
